Polyurethane tooling boards are specially formulated to be machined to achieve excellent surface finish and dimensional stability. They have a  high compressive strength and goodedge stability, high thermal resistance and good resistance to solvents. Its main characteristics are density of 0,6g/cm³, a fine internal structure and homogeneous and low moisture absorption. The plates can be glued together using adhesives to produce stock larger than the standard size.. After machining, models made with PU tooling boards have a smooth and compact surface that can be varnished, to obtain a high surface hardness. The typical application of these boards is models, prototypes, master molds, dimensional control tools, molds for thermoforming, RIM and manufacture of components in composite materials.

PETG carbon fiber

PU

PETG reinforced with carbon fiber has improved mechanical properties with being more stiff, 10% more impact resistant and higher heat deflection (85ºC) when compared with normal PETG.It has a matte surface finish making the layer lines almost imperceptible.
