Polycarbonate (PC) is high strength material for technical applications. It has the higher mechanical, impact and heat resistance of all the FDM materials. It can be bent without breaking and tolerates some flexing. It comes with the drawback of warping (especially in large parts) and the higher price.

PETG carbon fiber

PC

PETG reinforced with carbon fiber has improved mechanical properties with being more stiff, 10% more impact resistant and higher heat deflection (85ºC) when compared with normal PETG.It has a matte surface finish making the layer lines almost imperceptible.
